Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman has refused an invitation to meet with Presiden Barak Obama when he arrives to Sin City to campaign for Nevada Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid Reid. Goodman was invited by the White House to meet the president on his arrival to Las Vegas on Thursday night and join him at a town hall event scheduled for Friday.

The 2010 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the largest consumers electronic trade show and exhibition in the world, will be back in Las Vegas from January 7-10th to present the latest video, audio, digital imaging, computers, entertainment, video games and mobile communications technology in the industry. The annual event held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas Hilton and the The Venetian Resort and Casino , will bring more than 2,500 CES exhibitors involved in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronics products. The 2010 International CES will host 20 market-specific TechZones throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center.

For 4th consecutive year, Las Vegas illusionists Penn & Teller will be bringing their “13 Bloody Days of Christmas” campaign and offer fans free show tickets for supporting the southern Nevada’s regional blood bank. Officials of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino said Penn & Teller will provide two tickets to their show, each valued at $75 each, to all blood donors during the eighth annual blood drive through December 31st.
