The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that they will be holding their seventh annual Teddy Bear Toss during the game against the Ontario Reign on Saturday, December 19th, at 7:05 PM at the Orleans Arena . The Teddy Bear Toss will take place right after the Wranglers core their first goal of the night. All stuffed animals will be donated to the Wranglers’ Focus School, Sunrise Acres Elementary.

There’s nothing worse than when the heat of competition is interrupted by silly distractions. You know, like when the San Antonio Spurs are interrupted on Halloween in what appears to be a haunted AT&T Center. While the Spurs and Sacramento Kings played an early season game this past Friday, a bat flew around the court–apparently looking to get in the next game.

If you’ve been distracted by all the NBA action lately, chances are you missed one of the NHL’s great performances last night. Evgeni Malkin’s third goal is from Game 2 of the Pens-Hurricanes last night was definitely one of the better goals of the playofffs. I think some skill might be involved in this one.
